Some internal photos and the connector pinout for a Micron A10 thermal imaging core.

18 pin camera connector

Pin 1: Power

Pin 2: Power return

Pin 3: Power

Pin 4: Power return

Pin 5: Spare, do not connect

Pin 6: Digital ground

Pin 7: Analog video

Pin 8: Analog video return

Pin 9: RS232 transmit

Pin 10: Digital ground

Pin 11: RS232 receive

Pin 12: Spare, do not connect

Pin 13: Data sync plus

Pin 14: Data sync minus

Pin 15: Data out plus

Pin 17: Data clock plus

Pin 18: Data clock minus

The board connector is listed as JAE DA1B018H91 and the matching cable connector as DA1D018M91.

The analog video output needs a 75 ohm termination between video and video return. A normal composite video monitor may already provide that termination, so another resistor should not be added in parallel unless it is actually needed.

Success. I got a thermal image from the camera.
