A quick hack for using inexpensive tweezers to measure SMD components, because what is more comfortable for catching a small part than a pair of tweezers?
Parts used
A short two wire cable
A cheap pair of tweezers with electrically separate arms
Two banana plugs
Heat shrink tubing
I attached one wire to each arm of the tweezers, insulated the connections with heat shrink and fitted the banana plugs at the other end.
With the tips closed, the resistance of the tweezers and leads was approximately 0.23 ohms. I also tested them with a 13 kOhm SMD resistor.
